The IW_ZU49DR_COME combines AMD's Zynq UltraScale+ RFSoC Gen3 (XCZU49DR-2FFVF1760E) with a Kontron x86 COM Express Computer-on-Module for enhanced onboard data-processing performance. The RFSoC side provides 16 channels of 14-bit RF-ADC (2.5 GSPS) and 16 channels of 14-bit RF-DAC (9.85 GSPS) via high-performance micro-RF connectors, backed by eight Micron DDR4 chips split into 64-bit PS-side and 64-bit PL-side buses, dual 1Gbit QSPI Flash for boot storage, an M.2 NVMe slot and an SD card interface. Two 100Gbps QSFP28 connectors deliver high-speed optical offload in parallel with the RF sampling chain. Through the COM Express board-to-board connector, the module additionally exposes a USB 3.0 port, RJ45 Ethernet, video/DisplayPort output and embedded storage from the x86 side - giving the board both an RFSoC RF-processing core and a standalone x86 compute environment on a single assembly. This combination targets applications needing very high channel counts (16T16R-class) alongside local general-purpose processing, such as large phased-array radar, EW systems and high-throughput 5G/communications infrastructure.
