The IW_ZU48DR_QSFPX4_8T8R is based on AMD's Zynq UltraScale+ RFSoC Gen3 (XCZU48DR-L2FSVG1517I), providing 8 channels of 14-bit RF-ADC (5 GSPS) and 8 channels of 14-bit RF-DAC (9.85 GSPS) through high-performance SMA-KHDC16 RF connectors. Eight Micron DDR4 chips are split evenly into 64-bit PS-side and 64-bit PL-side buses (2400 Mb/s max) for high-performance data processing and storage, complemented by an SD card interface for file system storage. Four onboard QSFP connectors provide optical interfaces for high-speed data processing in parallel with the analog front end, and the PS side further extends two USB 3.0 ports, a Display Port output, an OLED display, a SYZYGY connector, a PMOD connector and a 10/100/1000 Ethernet port. This wide interface set - spanning high-speed optical I/O, local display and rapid-prototyping connectors (SYZYGY/PMOD) - makes the board a versatile RFSoC development platform for both algorithm bring-up and system integration work.
