IW-RFSOC-DSP — RFSoC + TMS320C6678 Multi-Core DSP Signal Processing Card

Brand: Interwiser

EIC Product Code:

Hybrid RFSoC + 8-core DSP card combining a Zynq UltraScale+ RFSoC (ZU47DR, 4x14-bit ADC/DAC) with a TMS320C6678 multi-core DSP and 4x 10Gbps QSFP+, purpose-built for real-time signal processing in 5G, radar, imaging and industrial applications.

Availability: in stock

The IW-RFSOC-DSP pairs AMD's Zynq UltraScale+ RFSoC Gen1 (XCZU47DR-2FFVE1156E) with a Texas Instruments TMS320C6678CYPA 8-core digital signal processor on a single board, combining direct RF sampling with dedicated high-performance DSP compute. The RFSoC side integrates 4 channels of 14-bit RF-ADC (5 GSPS) and 4 channels of 14-bit RF-DAC (9.85 GSPS), six Micron DDR4 chips (4x PS-side forming a 64-bit bus, 2x PL-side forming a 32-bit bus) and two 1GB QSPI Flash devices for boot storage. Four 10Gbps QSFP+ connectors handle high-speed data transmission for 5G-class and data-center scenarios, with an additional PS-side Ethernet port. The TMS320C6678, running up to 1GHz per core with independent instruction/data caches, executes complex DSP algorithms (FFT, filtering, encoding/decoding) in parallel with the RFSoC's RF front end - offloading real-time data analysis, image reconstruction and signal processing workloads that would otherwise burden the FPGA fabric or ARM cores alone.
