The IW-RFSOC-2T2R mixed-signal processing card is built around the Xilinx Zynq UltraScale+ RFSoC ZU47DR, providing 2 channels of 14-bit ADC at 5.0 GSPS and 2 channels of 14-bit DAC at 9.85 GSPS via side-mounted SMA RF connectors. As a commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) RFSoC evaluation board, it lets designers move directly from RF front-end sampling to digital-domain signal chains - eliminating the JESD204B interface, its added latency and design complexity - while maximizing I/O channel density and minimizing power. The board carries 4GB PS-side and 2GB PL-side DDR4, a Micro SD slot (UHS), 10/100/1000 Ethernet, USB-JTAG/UART, a 40Gbps QSFP+ optical interface and a 10Gbps SFP+ interface for high-speed data offload, alongside RS232, a GPS module input, SPI and 36x GPIO expansion. This makes the IW-RFSOC-2T2R suitable for both standalone algorithm development and multi-channel/multi-board synchronized RF systems.
